Costs of sessions

MIAMS

This is the initial one-to-one meeting with the mediator charged at £120.00 per person. Sessions usually last 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Mediation

The joint mediation sessions are charged at £145.00 per person per hour. A typical mediation session lasts for 90 minutes (at the mediator’s discretion).

Government funding of £500 is now available in all cases where child arrangements are being discussed.

Cost of Documentation

Memorandum of Understanding and Open Financial Statement £550.00

The Open Financial Statement summarises your financial situation in a clear and concise way which will help you to get advice on what you want to achieve. The information is provided on an ‘open’ basis which means it can be shown to the court.

The Memorandum of Understanding document summarises the arrangements you want to make and why you have decided to do this. It enables a lawyer to prepare a Consent Order on your behalf to formalise arrangements quickly and easily thereby reducing the lawyers fees.

Parenting Plan £250.00

This document summarises arrangements you want to make for your children.

These fees include our costs of preparing the documents and amending them in line with any changes that you would like made. Most documents take between 2 and 4 hours for the mediator to prepare and amend.

Court Forms

Court forms such as a C100 and/or a Form A  can be provided at a cost of £60.00 per form.
